It s a large quartz wall clock with a conventional quartz unit on the back connected via a hole in the clock face to the hour and minute hand.
We tried new batteries didn t help.
Moving the hands manually can strip the gears resulting in the movement having to be replaced.

This you have to carefully open the cover of the clock mechanism.
I have a hermle movement regulator wall clock that ticks the pendulum swings and the chimes chime when you move the face hands to the hour but the hands do not move.
We can hear it ticking and it occasionally chimes but the hands won t move.
If the pendulum is not swinging be sure the pendulum is hung from front to back and that the clock is flush to the wall.
Any idea how i can get the hands to move to match the pendulum s action.
